Freedom and safety, fundamental human rights, are at the core of ¡Nos queremos libres y seguras!, a project that transforms collective struggle into an artistic and social call to action. Through an exploration of gender-based violence—physical, emotional, digital, and structural—the exhibition sheds light on the realities that harm women of all ages and backgrounds, while affirming their right to live with dignity, respect, and equality.

 

From personal testimonies to social reflection, the project highlights art’s power to inspire change, and challenge the paradigms that perpetuate inequality. Presented at the Museo Memoria y Tolerancia, this initiative urges visitors to re-educate, to unlearn, and to embrace equity as a shared responsibility, envisioning a future where women live free of violence and society flourishes in concord and justice.
